Our Projects
Over the years the NCPD has completed many projects designed to benefit persons with disabilities.
Most recently, we have focused on the following;

- Camp LaJwa - an annual summer camp for children with disabilities, primarily focusing on those who are home-bound and rarely get the opportunity to socialize and interact with others.
- Honey Production - this is a training program designed to provide persons with disabilities the necessary skills, knowledge and means to become beekeepers.
- Wood Carving - a training program to educate those interested in wood carving skills as a vocation
- Disaster Preparedness - several workshops are conducted across the island annually to ensure that persons with disabilities, their care givers and and their community are aware of the preparations and planning necessary in the event of a natural disaster. This is in collaboration with NEMO.
